Shot Put

Shot put involves an athlete standing from an assigned throwing circle and then throwing a shot put ball to a distance following a motion.

We have competition shot puts which are made from cast iron and machined to strict specifications to obtain a high quality finish.

We also have practice shot puts which are also made from an iron cast although they may not necessarily conform to competition specifications.

Our shot put balls come in variety of weights and diameter – from 1kg to 7.26kg.

We also have lighter shot puts for those who are just trying out the sport.
