Thousands of Young Athletes to Benefit from Free Sporting Equipment in Latest Round of ASF Grants



ASF Active Kids Grant - NOW OPEN

HART Sport and the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) have proudly announced their continued collaboration for the third year of the ASF Active Kids Grant. In partnership with philanthropic organisation The Dickinson Foundation, which has donated the funding to improve the physical and mental health of Australian children by encouraging them to participate in sport.

Thousands of young athletes and budding sport stars will benefit from free sporting equipment in the latest round of the Active Kids Grants.

In 2022, $284,218 in HART Sport equipment was provided to 81 clubs and benefited 14,419 young sports people.

6,926 pieces of equipment were given to volunteer-run clubs across 26 sporting codes, including athletics, basketball, cricket, cycling, football, hockey, netball, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball and more.

HART Sport's General Manager, Dan Benham, expressed his excitement about the continued collaboration, stating, "We’re excited to embark on the third year of collaboration with the Australian Sports Foundation for the Active Kids Grant. Our shared values and vision to encourage kids to participate in sport and stay active align perfectly, and we're eager to contribute to the growth of young athletes nationwide."

The 2023 Active Kids grant round opens 9am (AEST) Monday 11 September 2023 and closes 5pm (AEST) Friday 29 September 2023.
