QLD Firebirds visit HART Sport Brisbane: Netball Skills Galore!

Brisbane's netball fever reached new heights last weekend as talented players, Gabi Simpson and Macy Gardner from the Queensland Firebirds, paid a special visit to their enthusiastic fans at the HART Sport store in Brisbane. The visit was filled with laughter, excitement, and a whole lot of netball as the Firebirds took the time to engage with kids and share their skills through a variety of drills.

Passing, shooting, and footwork was the order of the day as the Firebirds shared their expert knowledge, using HART’s Agility Poles, Netball Goals, Rebounders and Hit & Fit Pads. A crowd favourite was the warm-up activity using Hart’s new Rebound Ball! But the fun didn’t stop at Netball, inspired by the Women’s World Cup, Gabi and Macy put everyone through their paces with a spontaneous game of Soccer!

Games, prizes and giveaways added to the fun as each participant received autographs, posed for photos, and took a piece of memorabilia away with them.

For the parents and families in attendance, the event was a source of immense pride and joy. Many expressed their gratitude for the Firebirds' enthusiasm in engaging with the community and creating memorable experiences for their children. "To see my daughter out there, learning from her role models, is a dream come true. This will undoubtedly fuel her passion for netball and inspire her to work hard to achieve her goals," said one parent.

Their visit will continue to inspire and motivate young netball enthusiasts to chase their dreams on and off the court.
